What is EDGE?
EDGE is a unique program designed to address each component of optimal player performance —— physical attributes (on and off ice), mental strength, fueling, injury reduction, recovery, season appropriate training loads, and an academic segment.
Our collection of elite coaches have many successful years of experience and have been an integral part of helping highly competitive players achieve their goals at every level—up to, and including, Stanley Cup Champions!
The goal of EDGE is creating an environment that optimizes all that we do and why we do it. To introduce the most up-to-date tools and knowledge needed to maximize player potential. The result is a player developing ahead the pack, not just on the ice but mentally and physically, resulting in a clearer picture of what you see your future looking like.

Each player will be videoed doing a sequence of drills and given the video accompanied with an analysis of areas to focus on after leaving the camp.

The CCM Stick Fitter has Demo sticks that are calibrated to help determine player optimal flex and construction. Testing is done and the information is then used to determine recommendations. The newest skates will be available to try on and see how they feel on the ice.

CHOOSE IT RIGHT
Players will be tested by Vizual Edge, a web based vision evaluation and training system that was developed to perfect the six core visual skills. Each player will receive a two months subscription as part of EDGE.

Choose It Right is a web based college match and education service. It matches your child with "best fit" colleges based on their personal preferences. You will receive the Showcase Plus program as part of EDGE.

SkateTech will be available for your sharpening needs specific days of the program. Each sharpening will be $10.

As part of participating in EDGE, you will receive a customized video analysis, testing with the CCM Stick Fitter, testing and a 2 month subscription with Vizual Edge and the Showcase Plus program with Choose It Right.

Each of the above components will have one hour each day, Monday-Friday.

Monday-Friday a special guest will be speaking on a variety of topics that play an integral part of competitive athletes whole body wellness, training and recovery. These speakers will share their expertise on injury, what to do to help minimize it and the best way to recover should it happen. On Nutrition, how we eat during the off season while training and eating in season for optimal performance. On Sleep, knowing how to give our bodies the proper amount of rest to restore itself mentally and physically during on and off season. Others will share their personal experiences as professional hockey players and as player agents.

EDGE takes COVID-19 seriously and will be taking measures to keep everyone as safe as possible. The schedule was adjusted to have smaller groups during the strength and conditioning and classroom portions and we will be careful about maintaining social distancing on ice. Food brought in for dinner will be packaged separately for each participant. Safety first!
